REINFORCED GLASS
Normal glass can break easily when subjected to light loads. Therefore, for some applications, toughened glass that has been specially treated to become strong and impact-resistant is chosen.

Toughened glass is heated strongly in a toughening furnace and then quickly blown off with cold air. This treatment makes the glass impact-resistant and allows it to withstand additional loads. This applies not only to mechanical stress, but also thermally, the glass can withstand large shocks after this treatment.
APPLICATION
Toughened glass is used in buildings where the glass needs to withstand thermal or mechanical stress. It can also be used in doors and glass walls. Toughened glass is difficult to break or damage, and if it does break it breaks into small blunt grains, reducing the risk of injury.
