CROSS RODS
Wienersprossen or cross rods are used to divide a pane of glass into several sections. It is often used as a traditional decoration in windows or doors or to provide more privacy to the room behind.
DIVISION
Cross rods are spacers used to create the desired subdivision between two panes of glass. Plastic or wooden rods are then glued to the glass parallel to the spacers, giving the appearance of small panes. Cross rods are supplied in various RAL colours.
APPLICATION
Cross bars or wienersprossen are used in certain situations where a pattern of smaller panes is desired, but where the good thermal insulation of insulated glass must be met.
