THERMAL SPACERS
Thermal spacers are used in windows, doors and other glass structures. They are specially designed to improve insulation at the edges of windows.
ISOLATION
Traditional spacers are mostly made of aluminium and therefore conduct heat easily from inside to outside and vice versa. This makes the edges of glass panes weak links when it comes to insulation. Using thermal spacers made of plastic remedies this problem.
APPLICATION
Thermal spacers are essential to reduce heat leaks and are thus used to improve the insulation performance of buildings. Also, the higher temperature prevents condensation at the edges of the glass. Thermal spacers are available in various RAL colours, ensuring an attractive appearance.
